Stephanie Stahl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, explaining her heart's scientific bent and her cats' names, Cobol and Snobol. Her fascination with parapsychology is evident in Heart of a Parapsychologist: A Picaresque Novel.

Ms. Stahl began her writing career in 1997, writing a column about women in various professional fields. As the Editor for a local newsletter, she was recognized with a nomination for a national award. She has co-authored articles for academic journals in statistical psychology, and currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida where she tends her Blue Roses.
