Canadian Journalist Nicole Whitney launched the program News for the Soul in 1998. Her goal was to create a positive example for mainstream media. Nicole claims that, "News for the Soul is Life Changing Talk Radio from the Uplifting to the
Unexplained."
Rather than sensationalize the abnormal or unexplained, News for the Soul
sets out to empower by moving beyond fear. Every week we take you on a
"journey to the edge of human knowledge" where we explore the uplifting side
of all things paranormal - ESP, ghosts, UFOs, crop circles, aliens, reverse
speech, afterlife communication, life after death, remote viewing,
reincarnation, near death experiences, near life experiences, the power of
the human mind, consciousness & the true nature of our "reality" ... and
more!
The project was born out of the following concept: If what we focus upon
expands in our world, then it is critical that there be a positive option in
the world of media and programming for people to choose in order to bring
balance back into the equation.
News for the Soul was founded and is run by journalist Nicole Whitney. What
began as a monthly community positive news newspaper in January 1997 has
evolved into an online global media centre and a life-changing talk radio
show now heard on several U.S. radio stations as well as in 91 countries
listening via the world wide web.
Ultimately, the NFTS mission is to reduce the amount of fear and anger on
the planet and thus do its part to transform the outcome of human destiny.
