

Uri Geller known for scientifically unexplained phenomena
Born in
a small hospital in Tel Aviv at 2 a.m. on the 20th of December 1946
making Uri a Sagittarian. He was named Uri after a cousin, who unfortunately
was killed in Budapest in a trolley bus accident.
Uri's first paranormal experience
was in a garden of an Arabic house opposite where Uri lived he was
in the tall grass when he felt something above him and heard a high
pitched sound.He felt something massive just hanging above him, then
something struck Uri either a beam or ray of light, it physically
knocked him to the grass. He remembers feeling very scared and running
home to tell his mother.Shortly after this he was eating some soup
with his mother when she noticed the spoon had bent!
When Uri's parents (Margaret and Tibor) divorced, his mother fell
in love with Ladisalas Gero a heavily built man in his fifties, and
a Hungarian Jew. He ran a small hotel in Cyprus, and it was there
that Uri moved. At this point Uri added the English language
to the Hebrew and Hungarian he already spoke.
As a young man Uri knew there was something that would make
him well known and he thought it would be a horror film actor! His
favorite film was Tarantula
Pauline also met Uri and has written his mini biography1955) and
his hero was Boris Karloff and Peter Lorre.
In
the summer of 1971 on Tuesday 17 of August, Uri met doctor Andrija
Puharich .He was deeply interested in parapsychology and ESP Purarich
enlisted the help of doctor Edgar Mitchell one of the astronauts for
Apollo 14, to research into Uri's powers.
It all started routinely with ESP tests etc. Purahich then later in
the relationship Hypnotised Uri and according to Puharich a mechanical
robot voice could be heard which came either from Uri, or directly
