Major Edward A. Dames - Remote Viewing
The world's foremost remote viewing teacher, Edward A. Dames, Major, U.S. Army (Ret.), served as the training and operations officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency's psychic intelligence collection unit, and currently serves as executive director for the Matrix Intelligence Agency, a private consulting group. Ed is a technical consultant for the feature film "Suspect Zero," (a Tom Cruise-Paula Wagner production), and plays the role of an FBI remote viewing instructor in the movie, as well.
Ed Dames joined the U.S. Army in 1967, transferring to the Army Security Agency a year later, during which time he was assigned to support the National Security Agency in the Far East.
By 1974, Dames had enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, double-majoring in Bioelectronics and Chinese. Upon graduation from UC's ROTC program, four years later, he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in Military Intelligence.
Flash forward to 1983, when Dames claims to have been trained -- along with five others -- in "coordinate remote viewing" by Ingo Swann, in a military setting. By the end of that year, it led to the INSCOM/DIA remote-viewing program at Fort Meade.
However, another remote viewer in the program during the same period, Joe McMoneagle, has stated that Dames has exaggerated his involvement -- that Dames was only a monitor/interviewer of the remote viewers, not one himself. The original "coordinate remote viewing" program was a form of psychic espionage, used to locate hidden biological weapons or hostages for example. It was a process by which the collective unconscious could communicate information to the conscious mind of the viewer.
By the late 1980s, by-then Major Ed Dames retired from the U.S. Army, and -- as he put it -- "finessed" and refined the remote-viewing training protocols, then forming his own Beverly Hills-based company, Psi Tech. Using what he has termed "technical remote-viewing", Psi Tech has made many predictions since the early 1990s. Early predictions included the "jet stream" dropping near the Earth's surface along central latitudes, with up to 300mph winds having a devastating effect upon everything in its path, and a bovine AIDS virus that would kill children who drank milk. The group has also completed less esoteric "views," such as the reasons for the TWA 800 crash and the causes of a dolphin mass stranding/die-off.
By mid-1998, Dames had relocated to somewhere in French Polynesia, as part of a project involving extraterrestrial contact. Dames still makes regular appearances on the syndicated late-night radio program "Coast to Coast AM."
