Authors Tom and Lisa Butler and their organization - American Association of
Electronic Voice Phenomena (AA-EVP) are experts in Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). They claim EVPs are the voices of the dead and as such, the best proof available that we survive physical death.
Tom and Lisa Butler assumed leadership of the Association from Sarah Estep in May of 2000. Since then, they have established this web site with the intention of making information about EVP available to the public and to provide support for those who wish to learn how to experiment with the phenomenon.
They have also established an email distribution system known as the AA-EVP Egroup. This service permits members to communicate with many other members by sending an email to only one address. The service also provides an archive of previous emails.
Of course, the newsletter has been maintained as a quarterly publication. Tom and Lisa have been careful to maintain it as a "news" publication. They include information about EVP and ITC from around the world.
Lisa has a BA degree in psychology. Tom has a BS degree in electronics engineering.
Both Tom and Lisa have extensive backgrounds in metaphysics.
The two have experimented with EVP for over fourteen years and began Video ITC experiments in November 2001.
